It’s been a long time since the Altas Bar closed. Maybe five years now? Then sitting empty for months, fire burned through the roof. There is still rumor that it will reopen, but it seems that all renovations are stalled. I took this picture in 2010. Summer, I think. Late night. This maybe happened over and over at this same table near the jukebox. You try to get a cigarette into your mouth, but it ends up stuck in your eye, and you just go ahead and light it anyway.
