TOUCHY FEELING quarantine performances 2021

Scott Northrup and I started collecting stories for a new Stupor way back in 2019. By the time TOUCHY FEELY went to print and we were ready to release it, we were deep in the sick muck of 2020. A party was impossible, so we decided to work on making a film out of it. It was released June 4, 2021, presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit – MOCAD as part of their Daily Rush series. It stars Kaitlyn Valor Bourque (she directed as well) Jonathan Jones, Maya Gangadharan, Victoria Rose Weatherspoon, Miles Bond, Phil Leslie, and Tiaja Sabrie

STUPOR at BRAIN FRAME:

Back in 2013, I read at the MOCAD (Museum of Contemporary Art in Detroit) as part of a project built by Chicago artist and performer Lyra Hill called Brain Frame. I created the background images which were projected on a screen behind me as I read.
